Review of Bring the Fresh

If you read any of my blogs or subscribe to my newsletters then you will know that I don’t do many reviews. In fact, I am almost certain that this is the first review I have ever done on this blog since I became an author of it a long time ago. However, something called “Bring the Fresh” was recently recommended to me by a close friend of mine who also happens to be a high level internet marketer. He’s one of the few people I truly trust online and when he speaks, I listen.

Plus I recognized both the names of the owners, Kelly Felix (of “The Rich Jerk” fame) and Mike Long. Both are very well known in the internet marketing world. And Kelly actually contacted me shortly afterward, almost as if he somehow knew I had just been told about his site, but there’s no way he could have actually known. It must have been fate. So I decided I probably should give it a look and see what it’s all about.

I told Kelly Felix that I would write a review of bring the fresh if he wanted to set me up with an account. I made it very clear to him that I would give my honest opinion of it and tell the truth about what I thought. I do not write positive reviews just because I was given a free copy of something or because the owner is a well known internet marketer, or for any other reason unless they truly deserve it. If it sucks I am going to flat out say it does. He still set me up with a full disclosure membership after hearing that so he must have been confident in his work. I’ll give him a plus for that.

Of course, I still didn’t have high expectations being the skeptic that I am. And having been an internet marketer for many years seeing all the new crap coming out all the time has made me even more cautious and pessimistic. But I tried to go in with as much of an open mind as I could.

The first thing I noticed is that their sales page isn’t full of hype and outrageous promises like you see far too often on most “how to make money online” type of products. It basically just gives you an overview of what’s inside and what’s not inside along with some videos, testimonials, and a bit of other information. They get another plus right off the bat for that.

But the sales page isn’t really what matters; it’s just a small part of the equation. It’s what’s inside that you pay for and ultimately the only thing that counts. So I dug in expecting to get through it all in an hour or two and be done. Ha! The joke was on me. This thing is packed.

BTF isn’t some ebook or report like you see so often with products in the make money online niche. Instead, this is a full blown membership site complete with videos, guides, interviews, recommended products, forums, bonuses, and so much more. I didn’t count up every minute but my rough estimate is that there has to be somewhere around 40 hours of video plus everything else.

Some of the lessons taught and resources include; market selection, product creation, website success, link building and SEO for high rankings, marketing, conversions, templates, etc… Heck they even give you their personal cell phone numbers so you can call them if you have questions. That is virtually unheard of. It really is loaded!

I’ve been an internet marketer making a great living from my online business since 2003, so at the time of writing this I have 8 years experience. Even still BTF taught me several things I didn’t know, gave me a few more twists on some things I did know, and refreshed me on some things I already knew. I definitely didn’t think it would have much of anything new that I didn’t already know, but I was wrong. It truly is real and useful information for making money online.

Here’s a quick list of the positives:

It works – I know that the stuff they are teaching actually does work. That’s really all that matters and the #1 reason why I recommend it.Several hours of video – Everything is shown to you so it is much easier to understand and implement.Solid advice and training – Not a bunch of fluff and filler. It’s packed full of truly useful stuff.Easy to follow – You aren’t left more confused than when you started as tends to happen with other internet marketing products.Great value at a low price – They massively over-deliver.Up to date – They continually update as needed.Active forum – Lots of discussion going on in there about all sorts of different internet marketing and money making topics.Amazing support – You can contact them via email, Skype, forum, phone numbers, Facebook, and Twitter. What more could you ask for?

And a couple negative things I found:

Design – I know this doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things but it’s not a pretty site by any means. I think it certainly could have been designed much better. That doesn’t take away any of the excellent content but it does make the membership seem less professional.It could use more ebooks to follow – The videos are great and you can watch them over and over again as needed, but sometimes I like to have ebooks to read and reference if needed. That would have been the icing on the cake.

One thing I want to make very clear about Bring the Fresh is that it is NOT a scam or rip-off or fraud in any sense of those words! It’s also not one of those stupid “get rich quick” schemes. I’ve seen a few bring the fresh scam reviews and I have no idea how or why they would say that because it definitely isn’t. I have many years of internet marketing experience so I have seen a lot of scams, ripoffs, schemes, misleading information, and everything else under the sun. This is one site that certainly doesn’t deserve the negative reviews, in my opinion. It is the real deal.

It’s rare for me to fully recommend a product but in this case I do. I see no reason why BTF should be avoided or not recommended. It is legitimate and if you follow the things they teach and take action on them, you will make money online. There’s not much else to say so that is the end of my honest bring the fresh review.

How to Make Money on Fiverr

Fiverr is the leader in a relatively new phenomenon called micro jobbing. Micro jobs are small outsourced pieces of work that can be completed quickly and for small amounts of money. Fiverr.com is a micro job marketplace, meant for buyers and sellers to interact. It’s a great way to make some extra money on the side to supplement your regular income. The information you will find in this article can get you up and running on Fiverr and making good money in no time!

Getting Started
Before taking the plunge into the Fiverr marketplace, take a look around the site and see what everyone else is doing. Fiverr jobs are called “gigs” and users may create as many “gigs” as they can handle. See what gigs are popular and drawing interest, for example a resume writing service will may draw more customers than a gig offering a video of you playing happy birthday on a kazoo. I also recommend trying out a gig or two before creating one of your own, this will cost very little money and also give you a great idea how the site works and how buyers and sellers interact. Once you get the hang of how gigs work and how to interact on the site, come up with something you are really good at that is marketable to the general public and also something you can complete in a timely fashion.

Your First Gig
Creating your own gig is where you will make your money on Fiverr. A gig has to be something that users are looking for and find useful in order to bring in revenue. When setting up your gig, make sure to have an attractive picture that can draw users to your posting. The keywords that you use for your gig are also very important, think about what a user will search for on Fiverr and manage your keywords accordingly. For example, if your gig is about providing users with a cover letter, use keywords such as cover letter, job search, resume, resume writing, jobs, CV, etc. This will ensure that anytime someone looks for anything to do with a job search, your gig will appear.

In addition to having an attractive photo and stellar keywords, your Fiverr gig will also need to have a few other elements perfected in order to get steady business. Each Fiverr user has a profile that describes who they are and what their experience is. Fiverr is a copycat world and once users catch on to what gigs are popular, they will begin to try and offer them as well. A top user needs to stand out from the pack by detailing their experience in their gig areas as well as what makes them unique. A detailed user profile is what separates the powerful Fiverr users from the rest of the pack.

Another important feature of gigs is how long it will take to deliver. Users are looking for a quick turnaround, so try to push yourself to provide a short turnaround time. Keep in mind you need to meet these deadlines or you will not get the money for the job. Balance your work/life schedule with how long it will take to complete work on Fiverr to find the perfect length to turn around work. Lastly, your gig’s description will be the deciding factor for many users whether to choose you or another user. Make your description stand out by using catchy words and phrases and also allowing the user to get a deep understanding of what you can provide.

Getting to Work
So you have set up your gig and now you have been given work! Fiverr is a competitive marketplace so your feedback and timely responses to your customers is vital. Provide top quality work and your customers will give glowing feedback and most likely become repeat customers! Building a strong customer base and growing your feedback rating will help you to gain traction amongst users and provide further benefits down the line. High feedback + short turnaround time + repeat customers = $$$$$.

Making big money on Fiverr
While most users struggle to make decent money on Fiverr, if you have followed the steps above, you will soon find your revenues growing larger and larger. Once your gig becomes popular and your feedback is great, your gig will become “featured” on Fiverr. Featured status puts your gig on the front page of Fiverr, almost like a top position on a search engine. This visibility is provided as a thank you for doing great work, and in turn makes you a lot of money! You will soon get an explosion in business and many inquiries for future work. Be sure you can handle this increased work load and reap the rewards! Featured Fiverr users often make hundreds or thousands of dollars a month.

Getting paid and Fiverr issues
Fiverr’s payment system is a little tough to understand at first. Fiverr gigs all cost $5 but Fiverr takes $1 of every payment as a fee. The seller only receives $4 for each gig and must wait 14 days for each payment to “clear” before they can withdraw it to their paypal account. Yet again, your payment will take a hit when you transfer it to your paypal account as there is a fee charged and your final payment will be $3.92 for each gig completed. This is one of the biggest downsides to Fiverr as there is currently no alternate payment method. Another issue with Fiverr is user communication. Fiverr users often can’t clearly state what they are looking for and will often ask for way too much work to be done for $5, going outside of the scope of what your gig lists. So be sure to communicate clearly with your customers before accepting a gig, to make sure you are both happy with the outcome.

A Review From A Fiverr User
Fiverr provides a user who is willing to do their research, work hard, and provide a valuable service a very decent side income with just a small time investment. With times being tough, this micro job site provides users a way to get services cheap as well as make money to supplement their incomes. In just 3 months on Fiverr, I have made a few hundred dollars and have become a “Featured” user. My business has picked up lately and I am very happy with the extra income that Fiverr has been able to provide me.

Learn About Social Media and Do Good

Today, I want to introduce you to someone using social media for a very personal cause. Jeffrey Reidy is raising money to help build his Mom a home. His main avenue? Harnessing the power of social media. I first met Jeffrey on #UsGuys on Twitter. I was moved by his story about his Mom and his dedication to helping her. At the time, he was starting a chip in campaign to get help for her. But now he’s come up with several other ways to raise money for her. 1. Tell me a little bit about your Mom’s situation and what you’re doing to raise money to help her.

My mom was disabled years ago after a back operation for a sciatic nerve. Since she couldn’t work again after the operation, she had to start relying on a fixed income from social security. She couldn’t afford to keep living where she was prior to the operation so she found the only place that she could afford on the income from social security.

We didn’t know it at the time but the building she moved into was contaminated with toxic mold and she became really sick from it. Now she’s at the point where she needs oxygen to sleep at night and has a lot of seizure activity in her brain so even something like driving a car could be dangerous for her. She’s at the point where she needs to get out of there asap, and with money tight all around, I knew that I needed to do something big.

So I came up with the idea to run in the Disney World Half Marathon in January 2012 and tattoo sponsors’ logos on my body in order to raise money to build her a new house that she can live safely in.

I’m also holding some other events in the coming weeks and months such as social media webinars and anything else I can come up with to try to help her out.

2. What are you doing to train for the half marathon?

I just started a program called Couch to 5K this week and that will have me running about 3 miles in about 2 months and then I will step things up from there. It’s going to be a long road and a lot of hard work, but it’s my mom we’re talking about so I have to do whatever it takes to succeed.

3. How did you get involved with social media and how did you decide to use social media to help your mother?

I’ve been involved with social media for a few years now. It started out with me just using social media sites for personal use but then I added it to the consulting work that I do for businesses. I’ve seen so many great things promoted successfully with social media, so it just seemed like a natural route to go in promoting the events for my mom.

4. How’s that going so far?

It’s going very well. The support I’ve received from people has been tremendous and it hasn’t even been a whole week yet since I announced the Tattoo Run.

5. You’ve got a social media seminar coming up with the proceeds going to help your mother, who will be on that seminar?

We have a great lineup of speakers on the webinar… Michele Price, Chase Adams, Nicholas Cardot and Christopher Porter, plus some of the other #UsGuys founders might join Chase and the rest of us as well.

6. What topics will they be covering?

The topics that will be covered on the webinar include community building with social media, connecting with your customers via social media and friendship marketing using social media. We might touch on some other subjects as well.

7. Why should people sign up?

People should sign up because they’ll be getting a ton of great content and information that they can implement in their social media strategies. I like to tell people that this webinar offers real social media advice from real social media experts.

8. What one piece of advice would you offer for people just getting started in social media?

The best advice I can give someone that’s just getting started in social media is to just get out there and network with people. Interact with the people that you follow and the people that follow you, participate in #hashtag discussions and definitely focus on the “social” part of social media. You’ll make a ton of great friends and have a lot of fun along the way.

9. If someone wants to use social media to help their favorite cause, what can they do?

The biggest thing someone can do is to show people that you care about them and that’ll give people a reason to care about you and the things that you care about.

I was recently contacted by Kelly Felix who asked me if I would like to review his product Bring The Fresh. Since I am always on the lookout for fresh new ideas and SEO strategies I graciously accepted a free membership to Bring The Fresh in order to have a look through and post this review.

Ok, so lets get into the review:

It has a bit of a strange name, but Bring The Fresh is actually a system that will teach you how to build profitable websites, get them ranked in the search engines and get them generating income for you.

The creators of Bring The Fresh are Kelly Felix and Mike Long. Both guys have been around internet marketing for many years and have had some astonishingly successful websites in the past. (7 figure businesses).

You will discover how anyone can build a simple website in about 45 mins even if you have never built a website before. It’s really a simpler than most people think.Learn the key to a successful website – Choosing the right keywords to target. Get this wrong and you will find it 100 times harder to build a successful site.The simple way to get tons of people to link to your website. Let’s start with the good, there are some great ideas presented in the training videos.  Mike and Kelly clearly know their stuff. They have both been extremely success in their own online businesses, running 6 & 7 figure online businesses in the past. The private members forum is also a great resource where you can ask the guys any specific questions you have and get great feedback.

Now for the bad. There are some parts of bring the fresh that I think could be improved. Personally I think the videos are a bit long winded, I don’t really like video training all that much, I prefer to be able to skip through to the bits that interest me. But then I have been doing this for over 10 years now, and already have quite a few sites ranking number #1 for their target keywords. so I know a lot of the basic stuff.

So for someone just starting out who is yet to build their first income generating site, then it’s probably worth the extra time to watch all the videos to fully understand the strategies.

And of course the Ugly. I have to say (Sorry Kelly) but the design of the site leaves quite a bit to be desired. I’m not sure what they were going for, with the name or the design, but ultimately it doesn’t matter what it looks like if the content is good enough. (Which I believe it is)

Only you can answer that. Bring The Fresh does deliver on its promises though. It is not a “One Click Wonder” type of system where they promise you riches at the push of a button. It contains solid information about how to build a real lasting online business. Real Businesses do take some work to setup though. So if you are looking for a “Get Rich Quick” type of product that promises you untold millions without having to do any work for it, then I am sorry but this is not for you.

If however you realize that in order to create anything of value, you need to do some work for it. Then I recommend taking a look at Bring The Fresh, it just might be what you are looking for.

Questions About Our Free Internet Marketing Coaching Program

We have been getting quite a few questions about what type of business you need to be running to get into our free training program. So, I wanted to make it a little more clear about what type of business is ideally suited for the free training.
